also let me tell you guys how freaking magical it is to go to a doctor’s office that is not only right across the street from Walt Disney Studios, but also just a few blocks from both Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Cartoon Network Studios. Like. holy shit. I almost didn’t care about getting a camera shoved up my vagina because wow MAGIC IS BEING MADE LIKE AN INCH FROM ME LKASJDHSA
okay so I’m FINALLY back from the trip to the doctor, and I told you guys I’d update you so yeah~ but it’s kinda lengthy and super TMI, so it’s under a read more to spare your dashes ♥

If we’re talking about my health, I’m hanging in there. My pain hasn’t decreased any, but the new meds to replace my hormones are helping a LOT for that stuff. My menopausal-like symptoms have massively dropped in frequency, so I’m really happy about that. And as for the pain, soon I’m going to be going to a physical therapist Kim Rhodes recommended to me. She swears by this person, saying that she’s the reason why she hasn’t had to have more surgeries. So I’m excited to see her :3
Other than that, I’m fine! I miss my home and cat a lot, but spending every day in a comfortable environment with my best friend is pretty sweet. Plus, being just a couple of minutes away from boba tea is like heaven to me.

So I’m finally back from my first appointment with the new doctor alksjhd
the short summary is that this guy is AMAZING. He treated me like a human being and talked to me gently and understandingly and sympathized and believed me with everything. And he didn’t just hand me pain killers and shove me out the door, he gave me things that my previous doctor SHOULD’VE given me after the hysterectomy and some other stuff and I’ll be going back in 6 weeks to see if that stuff helped enough. And he pretty much instructed me to talk more with Kim Rhodes about what she’s done to help decrease the pain [like yoga and acupuncture and shit. she’s done EVERYTHING apparently omg]
OH! Also omg this dude’s office holy shit. It’s freaking across the street, literally, from the Disney Studios. And it was so fancy omfg the waiting room had a bunch of art and statues and a fire place and everyone was suuuper super nice
anyways alksjdh he was great and even though I’m SUPER exhausted and feel like a grumpy zombie because WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THE TRAFFIC DOWN HERE WHAT THE FUCK LA, I’m suuuuper happy
thank god that when I need to get up and go out so I can go to my appointment with the new doctor, that’s the day my body decides it should be in so much pain that I can’t even get up to shower or get dressed
