#supernatural #They always have a celebratory beer after a hunt #they drive out of the town for awhile and find a nice spot on the highway to pull over #hundreds of tiny vistas scattered throughout the states have been the home for so very many moments #the sound of bottles or cans clacking together and then the long comfortable silence as they look out over the lands they keep safe #but this one must've been one of the bests #the beer tasted just a bit sweeter #the water was just a bit more sparkling #the wind was just a bit more refreshing #because they /were/ going to die together in that clinic #and they had resigned themselves to it #but here it is the next day #and the sun is shining and the birds are chirping and the beer in their bottles is perfect #I saw the queue my queue met at the park smiling at her candlelight vigil
