I never asked for help before. But I’m really desperate rigth now. So please don’t judge me for this.

Today I received the annual account for both, electricity and gas.

I think I almost had a heart attack when I opened those letters.

I’m a single mother who works full time and I already pay so many bills to provide a decent living for me and my daughter (rent, health insurance, taxes, daycare, and so on). Yet this is just way too much for me to handle right now. 

I’m actually afraid of being cut off electricity and gas right now. I need the electricity, not only for the fridge, but also for my daughters night light - she’s afraid of the dark.

And since we’re having a really cold ‘summer’ I actually have to turn on the heater every once in a while - so there is no way of not having any gas these days.

I’m really desperate right now and I’m usually not the person to ask for help, but I have no idea how to get that much money on my own. 

The prices for gas and electricity went up a lot and that’s why it’s such a huge back pay now. I never had a back pay on any of these two, ever. I usually got money back. This is the first time in 10 years that I actually have to pay so much. I’m really frightened.

Maybe someone out there is willing to help me out, or at least spread to word. :(
